27.07.2023 – MEDIAN, a Portuguese insurance broker, has now become part of the Concentra Group. This acquisition boosts the growth of the Concentra Group in the Iberian region, increasing its presence in the Portuguese market, in addition to the acquisition of Melior in 2021.
The Concentra Group continues with its expansion and growth plans to position itself as the largest independent insurance broker in the Iberian Peninsula.
MEDIAN is a brokerage firm with nearly 50 years of experience, founded and led by Abílio Almeida Santos, with a global focus and service in risk consulting and management. The company also has a strong specialization in international business, supported by its membership in the five main international networks of insurance brokers (TechAssure, WBN, WING, IBN and AESIS). Thus, MEDIAN becomes the business unit specialized in international operations in the retail sector within the Concentra Group, operating autonomously and specialized in this area.
This new acquisition is of great importance for the Concentra Group, which continues to grow in the Portuguese market, where it hopes to continue closing operations in the coming months.
